Emaar Properties are to sponsor the G2 Godolphin Mile, the first Thoroughbred race on the prestigious Dubai World Cup fixture at Meydan Racecourse on Saturday, 30th March.

 The event established in 1996, by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, underscores Dubai's position as a hub for global sporting events. As one of the most notable races on the international calendar, the Dubai World Cup highlights the city's commitment to excellence and innovation. Emaar’s support reflects Dubai's status as a destination of choice for world-class entertainment, further solidifying its reputation on the global stage.

With a prize fund of US$1million, the Godolphin Mile attracts an international line-up of horses and those trained in Japan, the US and the UAE have made the roll of honour in recent years. In 2023 it was won by the Doug Watson-trained Isolate, ridden by top US jockey Tyler Gaffalione.
