AZIZI Developments are to sponsor the $1.5million Al Quoz Sprint, one of the turf features on the Dubai World Cup card, at Meydan Racecourse on Saturday, March 30th.
Won in 2023 by the Musabbeh Al Mheiri-trained Danyah, the 1200metre G1 Al Quoz Sprint [Sponsored by AZIZI Developments] dates back to 2007, moving to the Dubai World Cup card in 2010. Since then, winners have come from all over the world, with horses from Australia, South Africa, Ireland, the USA and Hong Kong all having their names on the trophy.
The event established in 1996, by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, underscores Dubai's position as a hub for global sporting events. As one of the most notable races on the international calendar, the Dubai World Cup highlights the city's commitment to excellence and innovation.
