Saturday at Al Ain was highlighted by a 2000m conditions race won in style by Snan partnered by Pat Cosgrave in the colours of Abu Dhabi Racing and adding more success to that being celebrated by rookie trainer Nisren Mahgoub.
For private owners, the opening 1400m maiden went to Dhergaam, Antonio Fresu in the saddle for Musabbeh Al Mheiri.
The Italian was soon celebrating a double after making every post a winning one in the only Thoroughbred race a 2200m handicap, and probably never headed aboard Branwell, again for Al Mheiri.
Elsewhere, Sayl Aelram proved far too good in a maiden over 1800m, Ozone Layer initiated a Cosgrave double in a 2000m handicap for Al Ajban Stables and Abdalla Al Hammadi.
Seemingly tailed off and out of contention entering the straight, Pat Cosgrave and Ozone Layer somehow managed to snatch a 20O0m Al Ain handicap.
